Colorado Bluebird Project

The Colorado Bluebird Project aims to improve the vitality of bluebird populations throughout Colorado and to inform and educate the public about bluebirds. Volunteers monitor nest boxes from April through August to track essential data.

Ridgeline Wrangers

The Ridgeline Wrangers are a volunteer group dedicated to managing and improving Steward Trail at Ridgeline Open Space. New to trail maintenance? No problem - trained crew leaders are on site to teach beginning volunteers. Learn cool new skills like erosion management techniques.

Rhyolite Dirt Crew

The Rhyolite Dirt Crew maintains and improves the bike park at Rhyolite Regional Park. Castle Rock Bike and Ski adopted the bike park and helps organize outings and volunteers.

Keepers of the Rock

All-volunteer group, Keepers of the Rock, maintains the Town's namesake, Rock Park, in partnership with the Town's Teen Court program. 

Crew leaders needed! 
Crew leaders are needed to lead volunteers and manage trail projects. No previous experience required. Outings are generally 8:30 a.m.-noon the first Saturday of each month. If interested, please email the group's leader, Dennis Carnahan.
