Castle Rock Water is more than water
Vicki Knopp, as a Customer Billing Specialist, has the primary responsibility of making sure billing gets out promptly and accounts are posted accurately. Given that over the years, she has prepared billing for fire and rescue departments, ambulance services, and doctor's offices, her attention to detail is a skill that has been thoroughly honed. But, it is the customer service aspect of her job that Vicki likes the most. Her department receives hundreds of phone calls each month. Mostly from customers who don't realize how much water they have used. After reviewing their consumption history, along with her cheerfulness and thoroughness, customers leave content that their bill was indeed accurate. Fixed charges are always a topic of discussion and as a resident of Castle Rock for 29 years, Vicki firmly believes in how those monthly charges ensure not only a reliable water service each day, but how Castle Rock is securing a sustainable future. Vicki is currently learning the features of the new billing system, set for launch in fall 2022. She loves learning and is excited about how the new system will create efficiencies in her job, as well as provide more benefits for the customer. Vicki doesn’t think of it as being stuck behind a computer or phone all day, but just helping her neighbors. Plus, she offsets her professional time with a lot of outdoor Colorado - snowmobiling, hiking and fishing with her family, and her dog, Scout.
