What are the chances you could win a front yard ColoradoScape? Would you take the odds of one in 20? One in 30? One in 50? Castle Rock Water is giving away an $8,000 front yard makeover and your chance is determined by the number of entries. We only have a handful submitted so far!

We've extended the deadline to Sunday, Aug. 22!

With our landscape designer and contractor on standby and HOA design review boards having been notified, a new front yard is just weeks away for one lucky resident!

How to enter

Use any camera or mobile device and have fun with a short video shoot! In the past, we've had costumed pirates, scary templates and cute poems. We've also had simple pleas for help with that water guzzling yard!

Whether scripted or not, simply shoot a video and tell us why your yard sucks. Water, that is. Share it on your favorite social media platform (Facebook, Instagram or Twitter) and tag @CRgov. Post it by Sunday, Aug. 22. You will hear back from us if we've received your entry. Our committee will pick the top 5, those will then be posted on the Town's social media for a public vote. The winner will get a new front yard by early October. Find details at CRconserve.com/Contest.

Why ColoradoScape?

Half of all the water used in Castle Rock goes toward irrigation. That's about 1.3 billion gallons of water per year poured on our lawns. Lawns are also an outdated, outmoded concept.
