The Town is planning for the future, which includes ways to ensure safe and smooth access for the traveling public. As the Town prepares for its next road improvement, your feedback is important.The Town will soon begin design on a project to widen Plum Creek Parkway between Gilbert Street and Ridge Road. Join the Town for an open house from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, at Town Hall, 100 N. Wilcox St. Provide your feedback before design beings.Town staff and representatives from engineering firm Kimley-Horn will be available to talk one-on-one with residents and give an overview of the scope of the project. Then, tell us what you think using sticky notes on a map of the project.Can’t attend? The project also includes a new roundabout at Plum Creek Parkway’s intersection with Gilbert Street and reconstruction of the current pavement between Eaton and Gilbert streets. Construction is expected to be phased over multiple years and begin as early as 2019.The design budget for this project is $480,515 and is funded by the Town’s Transportation Capital Fund, which includes growth-related revenues of impact fees and building use tax.Stay in touch!
