Open-field fire on South Lake Gulch Road

Castle Rock Fire and Rescue are on the scene of a brush fire near South Lake Gulch Road just south of Castle Rock. No homes or structures are threatened, but residents in the area should be aware.


The 10 acre fire broke out around 12:30 p.m. Castle Rock Fire and Rescue, Larkspur and Franktown fire protection districts are on scene.


The fire is in an open field on private property. No structures or animals are threatened. No more information is available at this time.
