Fitness for a purpose; Join Glow for REAL Sept. 16

Glow for REAL

Looking for a reason to work out? Have too many excuses to skip the gym? Join the Town for a new event that’ll bring fitness for a purpose and offer a great way to change things up. Don’t miss the new Glow for REAL – Zumba Special Needs Fundraiser.

The fun runs from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at the Amphitheater at Philip S. Miller Park. Participants will be led through a Zumba fitness routine to great music under the stars. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Castle Rock special needs program, REAL.

The REAL program supports members of the community who have disabilities and provides an adaptive recreation program that aims at empowering residents with a disability to live an active lifestyle.

All ages and ability levels are welcome. Zumba is a cardio dance workout that combines blended music rhythms from around the world. If you like having fun while you exercise, this’ll be a great workout for you. Plus, it’s all for a great cause.

The fee is $10 per person, but 100 percent of the proceeds will go to providing special needs programs in Castle Rock. Pre-registration is required.

More information, and registration, is available at CRgov.com/REALglow.
