1750 Wild Rye Court Accessory Dwelling Unit - VIRTUAL and IN-PERSON MEETING

Virtual and In-person Town Council: Tuesday, April 20, 2021                


Notice is hereby given that an application has been made for a Use by Special Review for a home addition to 1750 Wild Rye Court to accommodate an accessory dwelling unit. The addition would add 312 square feet to the main floor for the accessory dwelling unit and a 312 square foot expansion of the basement. The accessory dwelling unit would utilize an existing bedroom on the main floor and the addition would create a new leisure room, kitchen, bath, and new rear deck. The proposed accessory dwelling would total approximately 454 square feet and would be accessed from a door on the side of the house in addition to being accessible from within the house. Additions to existing homes to create an accessory dwelling unit require public hearings before the Planning Commission for review and recommendation and Town Council for review and final decision

A public hearing into said application will be held before Town Council on April 20, 2021 at 6 p.m. (Times are approximate). All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearings.

Planning Commission held a public hearing on March 25, 2021 and recommended approval to Town Council by a vote of 6-0.

Town Council Public Hearing
All interested parties are invited to participate in the Town Council public hearing. Public comments are encouraged.

In-Person
Town Council will hold an in-person public hearing on said application on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the Town of Castle Rock Town Hall, Town Council Chambers – 2nd Floor, 100 N. Wilcox Street, Castle Rock, Colorado. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic masks and social distancing will be required.

Virtual
As an alternative to attending the in-person public hearing, pursuant to Resolutions 2020-044 and 2020-045, and 2020-122 as approved by Town Council, you may virtually participate in the Town Council public hearing. Please use any of the following options to join virtually:
