Spring Up the Creek 2021
Saturday, May 1, 2021
A tradition in Castle Rock, Spring Up the Creek is held every May, and provides an opportunity for community groups and residents to come together to help keep the Town beautiful, and protect our watershed.
Our creeks depend on you
After canceling the event last year, we are pleased to announce the 2021 Spring Up the Creek. A tradition in Castle Rock, Spring Up the Creek is held every May, and provides an opportunity for community groups and residents to come together to help keep the Town beautiful, and protect our watershed. More than 200 volunteers gather to pick up trash along trails following the creeks. Volunteers are given gloves and bags, along with snacks and water. This year, neck gaiters will also be provided while supplies last.
Due to pandemic precautions, registration with an online indemnity form is required. Volunteers will meet at their identified trailhead or parking area (and not at Festival Park.)
The Town of Castle Rock hosts this event in conjunction with Castle Rock Water, Douglas County, Castle Pines Metropolitan District and Chatfield Watershed Authority.
