Boys and girls ages 13 to 17 participate in a four-day experience that challenges them both mentally and physically. Attendees participate in a range of outdoor adventure activities that focus on developing teamwork and leadership.
Law enforcement coaches create a positive learning environment utilizing peer encouragement and graduated successes. No experience is necessary. Class size is limited to 20 participants.

Come enjoy the great outdoors right here in Castle Rock with the Fitness Division's Summer Fitness Series at the Amphitheater at Philip S. Miller Park. Each week a new exercise format is highlighted. Challenge yourself by trying out a new and fun fitness class. Classes are open to all fitness levels and the entire family is welcome!

While Castle Rock may be a thriving community, the Town's Western heritage is alive and well. Don't miss the weekend of activities to celebrate Douglas County's history and honor a longstanding tradition. This year is the 101st year of the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo.
The Old West will truly come to life. Watch as cowhands drive a herd of longhorn steer and cattle through Downtown. Starting at Rock Park, the herd will continue along Perry Street before completing the journey right in front of the Castle Rock Police Department. Lots of Western activities will take place in Festival Park, too!

Celebrate the fair in Downtown Castle Rock, presented by the Castle Rock Chamber in partnership with the Town of Castle Rock. The parade starts on the south end of Town, followed by a pancake breakfast at the Castle Rock Fire Department to benefit the Douglas County High School Huskies. With well over 75 entries, including bands, entertainment, local businesses, and civic organizations, the Fair Parade is a must-see.

Boots & Brews is an old-fashioned fair in Festival Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 27. The FREE family-friendly event features food trucks, bounce houses, carnival games, beer and live music. Everything starts right after the Douglas County Fair Parade.
You are welcome to bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets and similar to sit on. Families are also welcome to bring their own food and/or drinks.

The Town of Castle Rock Parks and Recreation Department is inviting the public to paddle and kayak on the reservoir. The reservoir has not yet opened for public access, so these events are great opportunities to explore this scenic reservoir. Boat inspections will be on-site. Registration is required. Rueter-Hess Reservoir is located on Hess Road, one mile east of I-25 at the Castle Pines Parkway exit.
