Public Lands Day

Hike and Help Day at Quarry Mesa Open Space

Celebrate Public Lands Day by enjoying a guided geology and local history hike on Douglas Land Conservancy protected Quarry Mesa Open Space. The hike will be followed by a few hours of service, sprucing up the Madge Trail. All ages are welcome. Snacks, water, work gloves, and equipment will be provided.

The hike will be from 8 to 10 a.m. We will break for a snack at the top of the mesa from 10-10:30 a.m., with the work outing immediately following.
