The Plaza

The pavilions at Philip S. Miller Park are the perfect location for your next outdoor event. The four pavilions are located within the Plaza, which also houses a splash pad area, a community fire it area, public art sculpture and restroom facilities.

There is one large pavilion next to the splash pad area that boasts six picnic tables under the pavilion and six uncovered tables, which together, can accommodate approximately 120 people. This pavilion also overlooks a grassy area perfect for yard games or relaxing with friends and family.

The two lower pavilions have eight picnic tables each and can accommodate approximately 80 people each plus wall seating. The third upper pavilion has six tables and can accommodate approximately 60 people each plus wall seating.

Gas grills are allowed, however charcoal grills are not. Please note, at times, Town fire restrictions may prohibit the use of grills. Visit the Town's fire restrictions page for more information.

In addition to the pavilions, the Plaza area also contains indoor restroom facilities, a splash pad area, a community fireplace area featuring the legacy brick program and a public art sculpture.

The Legacy Brick Program is an opportunity to cast your name in stone in the Core Plaza. The Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation raises money from the Legacy Brick Program to fulfill the mission of enhancing the spaces that make Castle Rock unique.

Please note: there are several large events booked for Philip S. Miller Park this year. Parking is limited for events and general park / MAC use. Therefore, reservations are staggered to allow for general usage. We recommend carpooling.
