AerialWorks

AerialWorks will be having demonstrations of the aerial arts throughout the day. Look up to see the 18-foot-tall rig-hanging silks, or perhaps a trapeze or aerial hoop. A new school in Castle Rock, AerialWorks does it all! Come learn how to fly yourself with classes starting in August.

Pedal the Moon


Bicyclists of all ages and abilities are invited to come participate in the annual Pedal the Moon bike ride. Under the light of a full moon, this fun-filled 6-mile bike ride starts at the Butterfield Park Pavilion and proceeds south along the East Plum Creek Trail to Festival Park in Downtown Castle Rock.

Castle Rock Storm Soccer


Castle Rock Storm has programs for children ages three to 19. It is our goal to teach soccer skills in a fun, exciting and safe environment using soccer to nurture, build self-confidence, develop individual skills, and encourage teamwork. All of our  programs are designed to teach young players the basics of soccer through imagination, play, and age appropriate games. Try a free session! All soccer clinics will be held on the east end of the turf field.

Castle Rock Zip Line Tours


Epic Sky Trek is offering a $29 rate to participate in challenges for those with a Rocky Mountain Sports Festival wristband. Competitors can complete the following without holding on to their lanyards for points

Green Challenge - 10 points
Blue Challenge - 15 points
Black Challenge - 25 points
Double Black - 30 points

The top two point earners will receive a prize package.

Climbing Competition


$10 Rock Wall Climbing Challenge - a list of times will be kept at the Epic Adventure Tower Rock Wall and the top time will be announced at the end of the day. Winners will receive a prize package.

Fly Green Disc Golf Disc


Golf 101 - intro to disc golf: Learn to throw and putt from a golf pro. They will be on hand to offer free lessons and advice. There will be three to four baskets set up for people to play on with lots of demo discs. Throughout the day, there will be contests, anyone can enter and play anytime.

10 Putts from 30 feet: Whoever makes the most wins a Fly Green Prize pack.

Additionally, Fly Green Disc Golf will have a retail booth set up for people to inquire about the sport and purchase discs.

Crossfit Loop


Crossfit Loop of Castle Rock, CO will sponsor a Crossfit Competition. Enjoy a great workout participating in either the beginner, intermediate or advanced divisions. See how you compare to other athletes in the area, or if you're a first timer, see what CrossFit is all about!

Castle Rock Roller Punks 


The girls will be in full gear, skating around networking with other athletes. They will have at least two flash-mob style scrimmages to demonstrate how the sport is played. They will have Q&A afterwards as well. Starting at 2 p.m.

Rocky Mountain Self Defense & Fitness


Enjoy 30-minute introductions to the Krav Maga Self Defense System. Come learn basic strikes, defenses, escapes from chokes and other common attacks.

This introduction is suitable for everyone no matter what fitness level! Free workshops starting at 10:30, 11:30 a.m., 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, 3:30, 4:30, 5:30 p.m.

Sponsored by Renaissance Secondary School
Try your hand at fencing, test your balance on a globe ball, or check your cup stacking speed against the clock and regional champions. Sponsored by Renaissance Secondary School with support from the Denver Academy of Fencing. Participants will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis, so come on out and give these alternative sports a try.
