Transportation Action Plan

Moving Castle Rock in the right direction
In April 2005, more than 75 percent of Castle Rock voters approved the $30 million Transportation Action Plan bond issue. That approval led the Southeast and Southwest Arterial Connection Roads - now part of Plum Creek Parkway - to be completed years ahead of when they would have been without the voters' approval.

$10 million of the bonds were issued for the first two projects. Work continues on the third TAP project, the North Meadows Extension.
