Activities and Events

The Parks and Recreation Department offers many types of community events throughout the year, including the Daddy Daughter Ball, races like Tri-the-Rock, liveBIG, and the Castle Rock Half Marathon, as well as community events like Pooch Plunge, Pedal the Moon, and Spooktacular.

We also have several nature related activities such as National Trails Day, bird watching, wildlife educational presentations, guided hikes, Earth Day willow harvest and planting, and other outdoor activities.
