COVID Information

  1. Under the current State guidelines, the Recreation Center will be open June 1. New safety precautions will be in place, and users will be required to reserve time slots online. More information is coming soon. The Miller Activity Complex is currently being used exclusively for Summer Camp programming and is not open to the general public. The Millhouse at Philip S. Miller Park remains closed. The Town’s parks, open spaces and trails are open and the Challenge Hill is open for one-way use.

The Town received approval from the Tri-County Health Department to operate licensed day camps. CSU RAM Camp, Rock Rec Camp and Adventure Club camps are open and registration is currently available. Half-Day camps are tentatively scheduled to open June 1. More information available at CRgov.com/Camps.

The Town’s athletic courts (basketball, pickleball and tennis) are also now open, along with the skate park. However, ball fields are closed and team sports are not permitted under the state order. Non-fenced fields are open for individuals or members of the same household. Please remember to practice social distancing, maintain a distance of at least 6 feet and do not gather in groups of more than 10 people. Additionally, local health officials recommend wearing a face covering while in public. The intent remains to limit interactions to only those within your own household. Good hygiene – like not touching your face, and washing your hands well, and often – also remains important.

Youth athletic programs are tentatively scheduled to start June 8, but are awaiting confirmation from the State of Colorado.

All special events have been cancelled for June. More information on the summer events schedule is coming soon.

Playgrounds – including the FitGround at PSM Park – as well as park pavilions, picnic areas, group gathering areas and fields for organized team practices remain closed at this time.
