Honor Guard

Overview
The Castle Rock Fire and Rescue Department Honor Guard was established in 2005. The Honor Guard is comprised of a select group of firefighters committed to representing the best that the department has to offer.

Function
The Honor Guard works under the guidance of Chief Morales and is currently eight members strong.

The Honor Guard has been called upon to serve and assist in funerals for active and retired members of the Castle Rock Fire and Rescue Department. The team has participated in state and local memorial services, department graduation / promotional ceremonies, the Douglas County Fair Parade, opening ceremonies for the Colorado Rockies, Castle Rock Fire’s end-of-the-year banquet dinner and at the National Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial in Maryland.
