Asphalt patching, overlay and reconstruction project
This project involves the removal and replacement of curbs, gutters and sidewalk. Streets usually are worked on in groups, and the work can take 8 to 12 weeks to complete. The projects consist of patching, milling, or removing the existing pavement, followed by repaving.
Resurfacing can improve driving conditions and correct improper drainage. The work generally lasts 8 to 10 years depending on traffic, weather conditions, and other factor.
Miscellaneous concrete replacement
Concrete replacement or patching occurs between May and August. Projects involve removing damaged sections of roads, curb, gutter, and sidewalk with replacing with new concrete.
Slurry seal with concrete replacement project
The slurry seal project includes the replacement of curbs, gutters, and sidewalks between April through July. This project involves sealing cracks and patching potholes, followed by sealing the existing asphalt with slurry. This type of sealing occurs on used on streets with light-medium traffic volumes.
Asphalt rejuvenating project The asphalt rejuvenating program occurs in either August or September with curb, gutter, and sidewalk replacement. The project also works at sealing cracks and patching potholes, followed by applying a penetrating agent to the asphalt. This is used on streets with light traffic volumes.
Concrete pavement restoration project The concrete pavement joint sealing program occurs in either July or August. This involves the removal, replacement, grinding, and sealing of concrete pavement.
