Ronin and Officer Thompson
Officer Todd Thompson began his law enforcement career with the Castle Rock Police Department in March 2001.

In 2008, Officer Thompson retired his longtime partner and Town favorite, Jax, after six years of dedicated service. In October 2008, Jax's replacement, Legion, joined the department. After five years of devoted service, Legion was formally retired from the department. Legion continues to live with Officer Thompson.

Ronin, a Belgian Malinois and German shepherd mix, was sworn in as our newest police service dog on Aug. 19, 2014. Ronin was born in 2012 in the Netherlands. He also lives with Thompson.

Titan and Officer Brown
Officer Cody Brown joined the Castle Rock Police Department (CRPD) in October 2013. His background includes the Gang Unit and CST. In 2014, he applied and was accepted for our open K-9 officer position.

Titan, a Belgian Malinois, was born in late 2012 in Holland. He was shipped to Denver, Indiana where Officer Brown and a team of CRPD officers and the patrol commander carefully selected him out of 12 other dogs. Titan also lives with Officer Brown.
